Artistic Director/Conductor
The Moore County Choral Society (MCCS) is an SATB community choir of approximately 75-100 non-auditioned members. This past year MCCS celebrated its 50th Anniversary, demonstrating the commitment of the Artistic Director, singers, musicians, and community to choral arts in the Sandhills area. The choir provides two concerts per season, in December and April.
Due to the retirement of the current Artistic Director/Conductor, MCCS is seeking candidates for the position to assume responsibilities by the Fall 2026 season. In addition to a broad range of choral conducting experience, the ideal candidate will have strong artistic leadership, a love for fostering musical talent, and a collegial approach toward both professional and non-professional singers.
